Straight down over open water, June 2022. The dark shapes are Posidonia — the seagrass meadows the Balearics are known for — and everything else is depth: turquoise where the sand is shallow, violet where the surface catches the sky. I kept the shoreline out of this one deliberately. Without a rock or a boat for scale it stops being a place and becomes a surface, and I like that you have to be told which way up it goes.
