The steel lattice arch of a harbour bridge lit deep blue at night, its girders and rivets receding up and out of frame against the dark sky.

The Arch, in Blue

A century of steel, lit like a stage.

Up close the bridge stops being a silhouette on a postcard and turns into what it actually is: an enormous amount of riveted steel. Lit blue it reads as structure rather than landmark, which I prefer.
