Bronte Baths, Big Sea

The regulars call this a nice morning.

A big sea was running and the sun came up straight through the spray. The pool's chain fence and its swimmers went to silhouette; every set that hit the wall burst gold. What I like about the ocean pools is the negotiation — the sea gets to visit, the swimmers get to stay. Nobody left the water while I was there.
