Where the Jungle Stops

Tulum, Mexico · December 2020

DJI Mavic Air 2, 5 millimetres, f 2.8, 1/30 of a second, ISO 100

Two textures, one line.

Straight down over the Tulum coast, where the jungle runs out of land. What makes the frame is the abruptness — canopy, a strip of sand, then sea, three textures pressed against each other with almost no negotiation between them. Graphic enough that people ask if it's real. It's just Mexico from 120 metres.
