Dusk photograph of a large timber and stone alpine chalet on a village corner, its windows and balconies lit warm gold, snow-covered peaks visible above the rooflines behind.

Every building here is timber, stone and lit like a lantern.

Verbier at the hour when the sky still has some blue in it and every window in the village is already on. The building is all timber and stone, three storeys of balconies, and at dusk the whole thing glows from inside. Shot from the corner so the two faces of it carry the frame and the peaks behind stay just visible over the roofline — otherwise it could be a chalet anywhere.
