A small tree-topped rock islet in black silhouette against a sky of burnt orange cloud, its shape doubled faintly in rippled orange water, the low dark line of the far shore along the horizon.

Islet, Burnt Orange

Everything the sky had, in one colour.

Same rock, a few minutes on, exposed for the sky so that everything else goes black. What is left is a shape: the islet, the handful of trees on top of it, and the water taking the colour back down. There is a version of this with detail in the rocks. This is not it, on purpose.
