A dark, craggy mountain summit breaking through banks of cloud under a heavy grey sky, wisps of mist catching the light against its flank, and a sunlit snow slope dotted with small conifers cutting across the lower right of the frame.

The Peak, Through the Cloud

In and out of the cloud.

Cloud pouring around the peak, and the moment when most of it had cleared. Shot on a phone, which handled the range between the lit snow in the corner and the near-black rock better than it had any right to. The colour is a cold grey-green because that is what the light was doing, and I saw no reason to warm it up.
