A pale tiled edge and a line of slim posts strung with rope running out towards flat pale water that merges with an empty sky at the horizon.

Where the Edge Goes

March 2018

Sony A9, 66 millimetres, f 22, 30 seconds, ISO 800

Two lines and a horizon, and that is all there is.

Almost nothing in this one: a line of posts, a rope, an edge, and a horizon that has more or less given up distinguishing water from sky. I kept waiting for something to happen in the frame and eventually understood that nothing happening was the frame.
