Photograph of a smooth wind-sculpted snow ridge in the foreground, its clean curved edge catching the light, with a long dark serrated mountain range behind under a thin blue sky.

Ridge

One curve in front, one saw-edge behind.

Two shapes and not much else: a wind-carved snow ridge curving across the foreground, and the serrated range behind it going almost black by comparison. The near snow is completely smooth — no rock, no tracks, nothing — which makes the contrast with the broken skyline behind do all the work. Shot flat-on so neither shape sits in front of the other.
