Night photograph of a narrow cobbled alley in the Los Angeles Arts District, both walls covered floor to roof in dense graffiti, a single lamp glowing at the far end.

Every surface, all the way up, and one light at the end.

An alley in the Arts District where every available surface — brick, shutters, drainpipes, fire escapes — has been painted over so many times the layers have become the texture. Shot at night with one lamp at the far end doing all the lighting, so the walls fall away into the dark and the eye runs straight down the cobbles toward it.
