Moon Over the Tower

Paris, France · January 2018

1D X Mark II, 32 millimetres, f 22, 25 seconds, ISO 100

The cloud was in the way. Then the moon came through it.

Low cloud sitting right on top of the tower, which normally means packing up. Instead the moon came through the mist directly above the tip and lit the whole cloud from behind. Long exposure for the traffic along the bottom. The tower was meant to stand for twenty years and was kept only because it turned out to be useful as a radio mast.

Part of Night Cities, a series.
