A wide panoramic view of a snow-capped mountain range reflected in a perfectly still lake under a high overcast sky, low bush-covered headlands and a single red buoy on the water at left, a stand of dark pines on the far right shore.

The Range, Mirrored

The lake did its half of the work.

A stitched panorama, wider than the eye takes in at once, on a day with no wind and a flat white sky. The reflection is the point: the range appears twice, the lower copy softened just enough by the surface to tell them apart. The red buoy on the left is the only colour in the frame that is not blue, grey or green, and I nearly cropped it out. Nearly.
